Artwork wont sync to MM Android

I add a new song to MM windows and double click it to play it. The MM logo appears as the artwork in the "now playing" panel in the lower right corner. I click the three dots in the "now playing" window>lookup image. I choose an image and now it appears as expected whenever that song plays. But when I sync to MM android app, it still shows the MM logo. Also of note, going to the "recently added" playlist shows multiple songs grouped under a single (wrong) artwork. But when you actually play the song, it shows the right artwork in the now playing panel.

1. Which build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using?

2. I presume the Artwork is actually saved to the file (ie. it doesn't show the save icon on it).

3. It sounds like your tags are the issue. MediaMonkey only Syncs 1 Artwork per Album (ie. from 1 file on the Album). As you say files are grouped together it sounds like the tags (or lack thereof) make them 1 Album in MediaMonkey.

I'm using version 2024.0.0.3082. As you predicted, there is no save icon on the artwork images. I didn't realize artwork was assigned at the album level rather than by individual song. Most of my songs did not have an album name (I usually just do artist and song title and choose my own artwork from the artwork lookup tool. I ran auto tag to populate the album names. All songs in MM now have their own artwork. But when syncing to MM Android I get all manner of mixed results. The artwork in MM windows looks correct, but the android app is showing duplicate images for songs that aren't part of the same album. Resyncing seems to shuffle the incorrect images and others lose their artwork altogether (reverting to the mm logo). It seems to be random.

As mentioned, Artwork is Synced per Album. This means your setup is going to have Sync issues as you don't use Album (any file with no Album and no Album Artist would be considered the "same album').

I also having the same issue and i do have the "Album" and "Album Artist" of the files.
No cover on TAG, every album folder does have de Cover.jpg or .png... looking on android folder it seems to crate the folder.jpg but with 0KB.

How are you both syncing between MMW and MMA? i.e. are you using MMW's USB sync functionality OR MMA's WiFi Sync?
