As I'm playing music on MM5, when I've played thru a whole album the album displayed in the album grid does not automatically disappear. When I refresh the view it will update and disappear at that time. I'm looking for a setting to make the update automatically without having to refresh the view. What am I missing? What setting enables this refresh automatically?
Thanks,
steve

Can you please explain what you're viewing that would cause the Album to disappear on playback in the first place?

Re: mm5 grid by album display
Viewing the main panel, I had it set up to view the album covers of the songs that were playing from the playlist (grid view). For a while, as I was playing thru the playlist, as the songs finished the album covers disappeared, and only the remaining album covers of songs on the playlist were displayed. Now the album covers of the played songs will only disappear when I refresh the view. When viewing this panel set up with "list by album", the album will disappear when the last song from that album plays through, without doing a refresh of the view. So the list view updates automatically, but the grid view does not. I was hoping there was a setting where I could get the grid view to act like the list view.
thanks for the query
hope this explains what I'm trying to do.

Was Playing selected in the Media Tree or an AutoPlaylist?
If Playing (but it has no Grid option so probably not) you need to enable the option to remove the played files.

Re: mm5 grid by album display
I'm using auto DJ that selects songs based on an autoplaylist. The autoplaylist selects songs from my entire library using the criteria of a minimum rating of 3 stars and played less than 3 times. I run auto DJ maintaining 15 songs in the playlist and I select to automatically retain "0" previous files in playing list. So with these settings, like I said before, the list "by album" constantly updates as songs are played and they are automatically removed from the display. In the grid "by album" display, the view does not automatically remove the played songs. If I do a view refresh, the grid view correctly displays the remaining available albums.

I guess you're viewing an AutoPlaylist and it doesn't update?

Yes, I'm using an autoplaylist. The thing is the view updates when I'm using the list view. It does not update when using the grid view.
