Well... I'll try to explain it.
1 - I have two tabs open. (Usually I have between 10 and 20 opened)
2 - I click in one file in [Tab 1] to select it.
3 - I click in one file in [Tab 2] to select it.
4 - I click in [Tab 1] and I can see the previously selected file.
5 - I press [Delete] (hoping the file selected in [Tab 1] being deleted because is the tab that I'm seeing)
6 - MM deletes the file selected in [Tab 2] (MM warns about the file to be deleted but is the file in [Tab 2])
This made me accidentally delete files that I want to preserve.
For the moment I'm re-clicking in the file on [Tab 1] that I want delete to ensure which one I want to delete.
The expected behavior (imho) is that MM deletes the selected file in the tab that is in focus in the moment to press [Delete]
MM is deleting files in another tab

Re: MM is deleting files in another tab
Thanks for reporting, I was able to reproduce as: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=21443
For now you'll need to select the file in the now active tab.
