Find more from Folder (all) shows nonsens

This constant online drivel is getting me down.
1. I copy a new album into the media directory
2. because MM doesn't organize the files, I play one from the album via Explorer.
3. to see the entire folder contents, I select FInd more from : Folder (all) -> Nothing happens
4. Find more from: Album Aftermath ->
Result: MM shows me some rubish from the Internet.
What is this nonsense?
How can I stop MM from shouting out my data to the web, when I perform actions that have nothing to do with the web?

It sounds like you haven't added the files to the MediaMonkey Library, thus Find More from Same can't locate anything as it's looking in the MediaMonkey Library.

That's right (partially).
If files are not automatically added to library, I have been using the following procedure successfully for a long time:
1. play from explorer
2. context in Now Playing: Add to Library
3. find more from Folder (All) (=Showing files not in Library!)
4. select all files and context: Add to library

This has worked very well so far.
The corresponding folder could be found under “Add/Rescan files to the Library” and the checkbox was activated.

Now the scan job is also available, but the checkbox is inactive.

Does that mean that MM, when he can't find something in his library, pulls some nonsense from the web just so he can show something?

MediaMonkey will show YouTube matches if you browse (generally through Find More from Same) to something that has no MediaMonkey Library (local) content to show.

However if you're using Folder (All) it should show what's on the actual drive as you navigate to Folders that way. Are you sure you're using that (not Folder (Library) accidentally?

This ties in with previous requests to disable U-tube lookups in all circumstances where desired.

I can see why user is unhappy to see those when folder lookup fails - if it can't find what is requested, it should show nothing
