The directory cannot be created

I recently moved my files to a different external drive. I have added them all back to MM 2024 and things seems to play - all files located etc. They are all in a foder D:\Media\Collection
But... when I add new files and use organise using the same path for new tracks I get the same response every time. The directory cannot be created.
I assume I need to give permission for MM to write to the folder, but I have read and write and modify all enabled for "everyone".

Can anyone tell me what I must be doing wrong?

It is likely a permissions issue in Windows that's causing the issue (ie. this needs to be solved in Windows).

Can you copy a file there with MediaMonkey without creating a directory? Does that fail too?

No. I've just copied and pasted a word file into the folder.

Problem solved! For some reason the New Path had changed to M:\... I hadn't noticed Chalk this one down to me feeling fairly stupid now.
