Isolate single track albums and make them Various Artists

Post by oernster »

Is it possible to automagically isolate albums with only one track and place them all in a single album with suitable artwork called say Various Artists?

I know I could do this manually but it's a bit of a hassle.

You could create an AutoPlaylist/Advanced Search using Tracks in Album = 1 as Criteria to locate these files.

Oh thanks I never thought of that; I'm still a relative noob to MM, though I have the pro. I've done a bunch of customisation but not tried that yet.

OK great thanks. I now want to remove the single track artist albums from my album list and just have them in my autoplaylist. Is that feasible?

Probably, you can use Playlist is not Criteria set to the AutoPlaylist in the Collection Criteria.
