Remove Playlist Duplicates by Artist Title

A few years back, I wrote a script called "Remove Playlists Duplicates by Artist Title" - I may be losing my mind, but it appears that someone at MM got a hold of the script and now my plugin has been replaced with one authored by Ventis Media - it appears to work exactly the same (I think) except it runs much faster and it creates an output playlist with a different name = <original name> (filtered) - did this happen? If not, what the heck is going on?

De-duplication was previously available on the Playing, this has now been also added to Playlists. Don't see a new Playlist being created though.

If you select a playlist and right click, there is an option for "Remove Duplicates by artist-title" - it works a lot like my plugin which had the exact same name except I think they changed the criteria for selecting which copy of a duplicate is selected, it runs much faster, and it names the output playlist with the same name as the selected playlist and the text " (filtered)"

Does anyone else see "Remove duplicates by Artist-Title" in addition to "Remove duplicates" on the menu?

Just Remove duplicates is on the menu. I see nothing about the Addon you're mentioning on the Addons section, did you publish it (if so where)?

Are you running the latest beta .3153?

EDIT: Sorry, I'm losing it - after some research, it appears that the folder "Scripts" has an older version of my script in there - that version runs a lot faster - I am not sure how the new version of the script got replaced as I always install the latest beta over my existing portable install folder

Yes, and its is not available. Just the build in Remove duplicates.

Check Tools > Addons, do you have a duplicate Addon showing?
