Removing Top Right Field & Disable New Song Popup.

Post by perdedor »

Hey guys!

I just downloaded MediaMonkey & I have to say it is INCREDIBLE. I love it already.

I just have two (stupid) questions.

1. Is there any way to hide the top right field in the player?

2. Is it possible to stop the pop up when a new song plays?

Thanks for reading!

1. Unsure what you mean with this? Are you referring to remaining time? There are some customizing options: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... the_Player

2. Yes: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... up_Display

Hey Lowlander,

Thanks so much for writing! I got the popup gone, and, don't have to worry about the other issue! I went to Mediamonkey 4 to get a super cool skin haha.

I do have a reallly weird problem now, though. I can't associate music files with MM4. It says I have to do it via "WIndows Defualt Programs". When I try that, it has the option for MM 5 (even though I uninstalled it) but no option for MM4.

I'm just wondering if you might know what's going on?

--- And I'm sorry if I should have posted this in another thread. I can do that no problem.

Thanks again!

Does the MMW5 option open MMW4 (ie. it's just named incorrectly)?

Hey Lowlander,

I got it working! In re-installed MM5 & then uninstalled it. Then, I was able to set MM4 as the default music player.

I really appreciate your time & help.

Thanks so much again!

Be well.
