Unable to grant file permissions

Hi, when I try to sync it asks me to grant access, but when I do I get an error saying there's no file manager installed, but Google Files is installed and working, and has all app permissions granted. How can I fix this please|

Can you please Use ☰ -> ? -> Send Logs -> Write log ID to send it here before you send log from MMA -> Send log in MMA -> write reply here with log id sop that we can analyze.

Usually this is system settings of file manager, but above log will show us more.

Hello guys,
Permission to access the folder is requested via an intent.ACTION_OPEN_DOCUMENT_TREE.
I've tested on my devices (Android 11, Android 16).
To my surprise, it's no longer handled by Google Files.
The intent is processed by the system app (Documents UI) com.google.android.documentsui, and all other apps are ignored.

Probably, on some custom ROMs of Android, this app is missing or deactivated.

You can try to find this app in(System/Apps/show all apps, Show system apps), search "com.google.android.documentsui" or "DocumentsUI" and activate it if available.

So this is a problem on the system side that cannot be solved on the MMA side.

I keep my fingers crossed that you manage to solve this.

Not sure if this is the issue I am having. I can set 'most' of the folder with no problem. Just a couple of the movie / video folders MMA / Android crap out on when I try to assign them. Not a huge issue, things are working and I can play tunes.
