MM player buffers

Post by guest »

how do i set buffer length, prebuffer, and buffer-ahead on track change so that

a)tracks dont stutter while i do a search or the pc is very busy?

b)when i change the track, i dont have to wait 1,5 secs?
->i want instant track change for a smooth playback

in the default, b) is the case

a) is the case, when i want an instant change: i set buffer to 200ms, prebuffer to 200ms and buffer-ahead on track change to 200ms

pls help me
thanks

If you have playback issues you might consider changing the output plugin. There are alternative output plugins available on the MediaMonkey Add-ons and WinAmp plugin website.
