I use Wi-Fi sync between MMW and MMA, targeting playlists created in MMW.
When I delete a track from a playlist in MMW and then sync with MMA, the track is removed correctly on the first sync. However, from the next sync onward, it always shows “Analyzing” → “Analyzing sync list...”, and for some reason dozens to hundreds of tracks get updated.
After the analysis finishes, it displays “Updated **tracks” and “Updated 1 playlists from server”.
I don’t have metadata sync, volume leveling, or auto-conversion enabled, and when I check the tracks or playlists, no actual changes seem to have been made.
Even when I add new tracks to MMW, the mysterious updates take priority and the new tracks are not synced.
It seems that updates are being applied from the top of the playlist downward, and syncing of new tracks doesn’t occur until the process reaches their position in the list.
Since only a few hundred tracks are updated per sync, I have to repeat the sync dozens of times until the problem resolves.
Is there a way to prevent these mysterious updates from happening, or to force all tracks to update in a single sync?
Currently using:
MMW: 5.0.4.2693
MMA: 2.0.5.1248

Re: Repeated Analyzing during Sync
You're using an old release of MMW, we recommend using the latest MediaMonkey 2024.2 beta as Sync has been improved on since the release you're using.
