Unable to delete tracks

Version: 2024.2.1.3201
Platform: Windows 11 with all latest updates

Frequently, when I select a list of tracks and try to delete, the screen gets darkened and it doesnt display a confirmation dialog. I see a faint rectangle where the confirmation dialog shows up. Only action I can do is to press the esc key. If I close the app and reopen, everything starts to work fine for sometime and then the issue props up again. Memory usage across all apps and the OS is around 70%.
