No error message when mp3 file is readonly

Post by nachtgieger »

When SongsDB tries to update the ID3 tags of an mp3 file and the file is read only, there is no error message. It's the same if the ID3 tag should be written after editing songs properties or if i click Songs - Set song's tag(s).

When you correct it, please do not open a messagebox for every file that could not be written, collect the results and display the errors after trying the last update action instead. The ability of SongsDB to edit several tags at the same time is a very useful feature, please do not lose it by opening lots of message boxes.

Thanks a lot for your excellent and very professional program and support

I plan to make a kind of summary of errors in the end of each action, which will be applicable to this case too.

Read-only files - probably some option for confirmation could be added, but it think it is not a bit problem, actually it saves a lot of time for some users.
