problem with play songs
I had the same problem. At first the program worked just fine, then suddenly it crashed everytime I tried to play a song with the internal or external player.
I reinstalled the program, without result. Then I switched to the external player (winamp) and that worked. Better yet, I can use the internal player again also! Go figure....

We are currently not aware of any problem with playback plug-ins, but there are probably some issues on some machines. You can try to remove the current plug-ins in the Plugins sub-folder and put for example those which are distributed with WinAmp2 there (http://classic.winamp.com). You can also try to use the debug version (described here: http://www.songs-db.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=69) and then let me know about your results.
Thank you,
