Limited options under Shared Content? [#18732]

Post by karan1003 »

Not sure if this happened with the upgrade to MM5 or with some other background change, but looks like I can no longer browse the full library with DLNA?

Before I used to be able to navigate the full library, with nodes for artist, album, etc. Now I'm only able to see playlists for some reason, meaning I can't get to a part of my library unless I have already added it to a playlist.

Is there a way to make the full library visible through DLNA?

Thanks!

Check on the Shared Content tab what you've enabled to be shared in the Media Server settings: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... PnP_(DLNA)

Perhaps only Playlists are currently shared?

I’m not able to see anything except “Playlists” (and two other custom library nodes) under Shared Content

Do you see the same Collections that Tools > Options > Collections & Views shows?

A screenshot may help explain better.

Hmm.

I think I fixed it.

Looks like Collections and Views has to have that node checked for it to be available for sharing, and “Entire Library” does not qualify

I prefer to see classical music and everything in the same library, so have been using Entire Library primarily in the app

Yes, that's the way it's always been. Added as: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18732
