Start Media Monkey closed to tray? [#18910]

I've been using Media Monkey for a good while now but for some reason, ever since I moved to MM5, I can't get the program to start and just stay in the corner next the the clock, it always loads up in full.
How do I make it start in the corner?

Do you mean closed to tray on startup or the MicroPlayer on startup? Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using?

I mean closed to tray on startup, I'm using 5.0.1.2433

I currently don't run MM as a Service but I put a shortcut in the Startup Folder. I right clicked on the Properties for that shortcut and for the Run dropdown, I changed that to Minimized. I am not in front of my MM PC to double check but would something like that work for you?

Edit: sorry, I see now you meant minimized to the system tray - the above minimizes to the taskbar. You probably don't want to get involved with 3rd party apps, but there is one called Minimize to Tray that sounds good (not just for MM but any application that doesn't support minimizing to tray).

But why was the feature removed? I've been using Media Monkey for years and I know for a fact there was a option to have it always load in the system tray and not have the player itself display on screen.

I'm looking for a MM that is "Starting with Win10 but closes to the tray".
