In my current directory setup, I have the music files for an album in a directory, and a directory off of that for storing the artwork. The current versions of MediaMonkey5 seem to want to copy and store artwork in the main directory with the music -- I don't want that (it means updating 1000's of directories). I don't have the artwork tagged to the file, as I have multiple hi-res scans of artwork associated with each album, and embedding them in the music file makes for an unweildly file.
So, in options/library/tags&playlists, you can edit the format for artwork files. But I don't see how to specify storing them in a different directory -- how do I do this?
Thanks

Re: Album Artwork options
You can add directory to the Mask there for Artwork. So Folder\folder.jpg would create a folder named Folder in the location of the media file and store the Artwork there as folder.jpg.

Re: Album Artwork options
Thanks, but that doesn't work. I get a whole list of files named Folder_Folder_#.jpg in the main directory. That's by putting Folder\Folder.jpg in the "Format For Multiple Images". I've tried putting slashes / backslashes / periods in front of that and I just get the same thing. Am I doing something wrong?
