I am viewing a playlist, and type in a filtered contextual search, track not found.
I select under Music, all tracks, viewed in list by album view, wait for it to populate, and then begin typing my search term again.
The track does not appear, and I see that the playlist is selected still/again.
I realize that I need to click on "all tracks" TWICE to make it be the selected source
The first click on "All Tracks" only clears the search and re-displays the full playlist.
Is that as intended?

Re: Search is performed on playlist, not all tracks
What is likely happening is that your last click was in the Media Tree. Thus typing will jump to the matching node in the Media Tree instead of doing a Contextual search. Can you confirm if this is the problem you experience.
If I
1 Select Playlist
2 Do Contextual search set to Filter
3 Click on Music > All tracks
4 Select file in Filelisting
5 Do Contextual search
it will find results in All tracks.

If I

3 Click Once on Music > All tracks
4 Select file in Filelisting (look at file-count still shows small number)
5 Do Contextual search
it will find results in "playlist only
If I
1 Select Playlist
2 Do Contextual search set to Filter
3 Click on Music > All tracks and click on it a SECOND time
4 Select file in Filelisting or not, makes no difference
5 Do Contextual search
it will find results in All tracks.

I'm unable to reproduce on the internal 2684. There have been fixes to the List (by Album since 2682). Can you reproduce in the List View? If so, please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attache the log to a Support Ticket for developer analysis.

All recent versions back to 2670 do the same
