Persistent Error here.

Version 5.0.4.2690

Media is not on the local machine. It is on a network drive that is shared to the machine.

When this error shows up the Restart, Restart in Safe Mode and Continue do nothing. MM interface crashes. But as for playback it keeps running on Auto DJ like nothing is wrong. (most of the time)

So now 6 days running the debugging version and the debugging log and now this error has not shown up once. No hard crashes. No hard stops. It is working just like expected. I have not changed the running environment for which MM is running. The only thing that changed was MM5 itself. From regular to a debug version.

Sometimes the mere fact of reinstalling fixes things. You may find installing the regular build on top will also work without this. Unfortunately the debug version is the only way to troubleshoot.

I do understand that uninstalling and reinstalling can correct issues. But this was one of those errors that didn't seem to self correct with a fresh install. Hence thus I created this post. And for this, all I did was install the debug on top of the regular MM5 install.

If that error shows up again and I am able to pull a log or something I will post it here.

This error appeared again and I had the debug viewer running in the back ground. I got it submitted.
