Main window 'Pinned list' value resets/isn't read after switching nodes [#19892]

The checkmark for 'Pinned list' visibility in Browser/Home view displays correctly, but Pinned list visibility actually resets when you re-navigate to the node.

-Pin something
-In any node, set view to Browser (or Home)
-Uncheck 'Pinned list' in View Elements
-Navigate to any other node and back

The checkmark is unchecked, but the Pinned list is showing. Toggling the checkmark produces desired behavior.
