Album art missing on list but displayed on excerpt

Hi,

I have an issue with one track: the album art isn't displayed on the playlists list like my "last updated" playlist:



If I select the track, the album art is well displayed.

I tried to delete and re-add the album art, and an error said "failed to update tag..." and the old folder where the track was is displayed.

It seems that there is an error in the database?

I tried a lot of things like finding moved tracks, repairing the database, moving the file, etc. Nothing fixed the issue.

Do you have an idea of the problem?

Does the file play in MediaMonkey? Maybe it's a dead link?

Yes it is played, and it isn't listed in File > Locate Moved/Missing Files.

Do any other tag changes get saved to the file and which Build (Help > About) of MMW are you seeing this with? Is it just this single file with this issue or are other files also affected?

Hi,

I can't see any more the error message about the old location. I can modify tags without errors in this file but I still don't see album artwork on my last updated list.

Another thing strange, the notation is 4,5 instead of 5 in the excerpt, even if I modify it (4 then 5) and refresh the screen (F5):


I use the 5.0.4.2690 version.

Others files doesn't seem to be affected by this issue.

Did you confirm this in another application (or File Explorer) that the changes made to other tags in this particular file were saved to the file itself?

In that case I recommend offering the file to Support and/or capture the problem in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?t=86643

This will help a developer analyze why this happens on your setup.

Ok. If I try to delete it from the MM database and add this file again, is it possible to edit the date-added information?

And is there a way to view and edit MM database info about this file?

No, Date Added can't be modified within MediaMonkey. Also, we're not suggesting to remove it.
