Sync Profile - timestamp filename slashes interpreted as folders delimiters [#20121]

Hi,

This is just a warning about what might be unintended behaviour about the Timestamp file attribute in playlist filename patterns. If it is intended then this a Gotcha and a warning to users might be appropriate.

I use sync to write playlist song files to a USB stick. In the filename pattern (Sync > USB device > Sync Profile > File Locations > Music)I had tried to use the Timestamp to make filenames unique (long story) and found by accident that the forward slash characters in the timestamp get interpreted as folder delmiters.

For example, the filename pattern of "... <Title> - <Timestamp>", where Timestamp resolves as "27/06/2023 10:14 AM", gets written to the USB stick as
"... Spanish Dancer - 27
\06
\2023 10 14 AM.mp3"
So the "/" in the timestamp text gets turned into folders "\". Also it appears that if there was a ":" in the time string then it gets converted into a space.

Would it be possible for Timestamp to get recoded so as to not have folder characters in its text string, or is there some way for me to configure the timestamp value to not have slashes in it?

You can use <AutoNumber> for a unique value on Sync.
