Text Views Condense Multiple Spaces [#20244]

In Album List view for example, I can directly Edit text in track field Title to have multiple spaces between words (force a more visible separation between sections in my Titles), and same thing editing the Title field within the Properties dialog to have multiple spaces; however returning to the view of this field, it shows only one space char where there should be multiple spaces. Going back to Edit still show the multiple spaces. Why is this happening and can I stop it from happening? This problem does not happen in my MMW4.

Not just Title field. Same thing happens with Filename field, etc.
