Volume Analysis

I opened MM5 this morning and see the activity indicator spinning while at the bottom of the screen a line of text says: "Analyzing volume 185_186_187_etc. of 29,109." I do want volume leveling, but I expected analysis to take place only once when I first acquire and save each file. What have I done wrong?

You may have enabled auto-analyze of files with unknown adjustment in the Options.
