Funktion of "Send To > Email" do not work [#21087]

What should happen with the Send To > Email function?
MM creates an email in Thunderbird with the title of the track as subject. I actually expected it to insert the file as an attachment .(didn't find anything in the wiki).

The intent is for it to attach the file to an email. For me The Bat! attach file to new email.

Doesn't MM use Simple Mapi for this feature?
Then it should work with attachments in TB.
Otherwise, I wouldn't want to buy a special mail programme only for this function.

Good catch. Also fails for me to attach file in Seamonkey mail.

Send to, Mail Recipient, works for me from windows file explorer for the same file.

I screw up something on my pc and I am Getting

From all apps when I go to Send to -> Mail recepient and not working from The Bat! I use

But when I installed Thunderbird attachment only worked fro file explorer not from other apps.

Like print PDF to email or MM.

I have found out document (Link below) that thunderbird sort of removed that support if Simple MAPI is used.

I'll investigate and see what changed.

Strange is that MailTO: links still work.

EDIT: I fixed that. Problem was that for "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail" a "(Default)" values was not set to "The Bat! Simple MAPI 64-bit"
