No - exactly the same behaviour.
Just a handful of the albums show their cover art in the grid view, but all of them when clicked show their art in the selected pane. I can't work out what the difference is between the files that do and those that don't.
Pressing F5 has no discernible effect.
I should say it has been like this for years. I presume there is something special about the way I've ripped or stored the art on those albums that do show, but I can't see what. It seems the ones that are showing art are my more recent additions though, so is it perhaps that albums ripped by previous versions of MM, or where previous versions of MM were used to attach the album art, are incompatible? Is there a way to check?
Having said that, if I use the current 2024 version to attach album art to an existing album which doesn't show in the grid, the jpgs in the folder are updated, but it still doesn't show in the grid display.
You could try to delete the AlbumImages folder (or just rename it for now) in the MediaMonkey Temp folder (set under Tools > Options > General), then start MediaMonkey and see if that creates the Artworks in the Filelisting.
Also verify that the correct Artwork is listed as the first Artwork on all files on the Albums.
So - am I looking for a folder named "Albumimages", within MediaMonkey, within the temp folder? There isn't one there. I only have Previews and VirtualCD, both of which are empty.
How would I verify the correct Artwork is listed as the first Artwork on all files on the Albums?
