When I create Collection, Latin Jazz and Latin there are not separated. The Latin Collection appears in the Latin Jazz Collection.
How can I separate them?
Thank you.

Hi,
Genre is multi value field, so if you create genre for track like "Jazz; Latin" and then create Auto Playlist with criteria Jazz + Latin it will give you only tracks that suits both criteria, but you will see them in both Genre.

Thank you. But will "Jazz" and "Latin Jazz" be separated in Collection?
Re: Separating Latin Jazz From Latin
It depends on how you setup the Collections. If you set Genre aquals Jazz it won't included Latin Jazz.

Re: Separating Latin Jazz From Latin
Is there a way of keeping them separate? I created a "Jazz" Collection. And created a "Latin;Jazz" Collection. I only scanned Jazz and they appear in "Latin;Jazz".

Or do I have to create some new Genre Name that would only include "Latin Jazz"?
Thank you.

Re: Separating Latin Jazz From Latin
You need to create 2 Criteria.
Genre = Jazz
Genre = Latin
which when Match is set to All would require both values to be present in Genre.

Re: Separating Latin Jazz From Latin
I fear following the steps above the "Jazz" collection may also include the "Latin Jazz" or certainly any "Latin;Jazz" tracks.
I am uncertain if the criteria search includes any word it contains or if it matches the entire phrase.
If indeed it matches the entire phrase then you could have the two genres as "Jazz" and "Latin Jazz" without the semicolon, and it would work.
If it matches any word contained in the genre, then it would be impossible to separate the "Jazz" tracks from the "Latin Jazz".
Further clarification is required here.

Hi,
Rob_S is Right you can additionally control Criteria by choosing Contains/Exact/Start with/...
So many possibilities and you need to play around to get best results for you.
