MediaMonkey ver. 2024 Not Syncing to Androd Properly Compared to ver. 4

I finally decided to give MediaMonkey 5 (or now called 2024) another try again when I ran into a MediaMokey 4 limitation with files not loading into the version 4 application when they have path lengths that are too long.

I've been trying out MediaMonkey version 2024.1.0.311 (Portable) in Windows 11 Home, and everything within the application itself appears to be working fine when compared to version 4.1.31.1919. However, when attempting to sync to my Android device on my Samsung Galaxy S7+ (SM-T970) tablet using MediaMonkey Pro for Android version 1.3.0017, the sync process is not adhering to my sync settings. It keeps attempting to sync over 33,000 files, when in reality it should only be attempting to sync just over 4,500 files. I tried looking over the WiFi sync setting in both the Android client application and the Windows application to make sure I didn't miss anything. No matter what I attempted to update in the playlists I was attempting to sync from the server, it continued to attempt syncing over 33,00 files where most of those are not part of the playlists that were selected to be synced.

I finally gave up aster spending about 3 hours working on this, and whet back to the MediaMonkey 4 server version, and the sync process began syncing the proper amount of files based on the selected playlists as it should.

I checked the forum for quite some time to see if such an issue was already reported, yet I could not find this specific issue with Android WiFi syncing to Windows MediaMokey 2024 Thus if this has already been reported, my apologies.

One other difference between the two server versions is:
version 4.1.31.1919 is installed
version 2024.1.0.311 is a portable setup
I mention this is case it may just be an issue with using the application in a portable setup instead of an installed setup.

You likely have the files selected somewhere. The Sync selection is inclusive, so anywhere something is selected it will be included in the Sync. I recommend checking the Sync selection in MMW as it's easier to see al selections made. You may have a Collection or a Collection node like Artist selected that includes all those files in the Sync.
