MM2024 can't see extended tags

MM2024 can't see extended tags
I have about 20K tracks mostly ripped by iTunes in M4A ALAC format. MM2024 only sees 1 or 2 of the extended tags in a small fraction of the tracks. Most tracks have no visible extended trags. Add/Re-scan files doesn't get the extended tags to display under the Properties window for each track, yet external tools can see and modify the extended tags (for example the COMPILATION tag). (NOTE: I may have cleared extended tags out of the database some time ago while trying to resolve DB/Tag mismatches). How do I get MM2024 to reload the extended tags from the files so that they are viewable and usable with a MM script (without losing and metadata that is in the database or other tags)?

You may need to disable Only for files with changed timestamp or size and rescan the files again.

Re: MM2024 can't see extended tags
Thanks for the reply - unfortunately, I already had that unchecked - I made sure it was unchecked and rescanned all of my CD rips and still can't see the extended tags - I can see the extended tags using external programs like mp3tag or exiftools.
Here are some tests that I ran regarding extended tags:
1 - If I add an extended tag using the properties in MM2024 like "COMPILATION", then, MM2024 will add an extended tag visible in mp3tag, but if the file already had a COMPILATION extended tag, then it will now have two COMPILATION tags.
2 - I wrote a script to retrieve the extended tags for a selected track, but it is consistent with what the Properties indicates
3 - I tried the Parental Advisory add on which supports the iTunes Advisory tag - it will add a 2nd Advisory tag to a file, if that file already has that tag
Only a few files that were recently added have 2 visible extended tags 1: iTunes CDDB IDs and 2: UFIDhttp://www.cddb.com/i3/taginfo1.html: ....
So, I am completely puzzled at the moment...

Here's the files: https://ufile.io/r3i5sn1b
Two ALAC M4A files and two text files with output from exiftool indicating their tags.
File 1-17...m4a has no extended tags visible in MM2024
File 07...m4a has the two tags mentioned above visible in MM2024

Re: MM2024 can't see extended tags
BTW - I also opened a ticket
More info: I installed the iTunes Advisory plugin and it does not see the ITUNESADVISORY tag in any files. I have some purchased AAC iTunes files that have this tag set to 1 (ITUNESADVISORY=1) - I can see it in mp3tag, but not in MM2024.

Re: MM2024 can't see extended tags
I checked all files in HEX Editor (HxD) and "1-17" do not have any extended tags in file (at least those I do not see), While "07" is there like you pointed. BUT I see that UFID Tag Chunk is not red as Binary, but as Unicode string String

Do you have sample files of those too?
