Automatic Updates (for Beta builds) [#21897]

I see we now have an automatic update feature.

I suspect it will only load release versions??? This happens only rarely, and I think most people might want a downloaded copy of the release installer....?

But for those of us who are trying to always run the latest betas, this would be a VERY useful feature, so we dont have to contstantly check the forum.

If not already, could we have an OPTION to set the automatic update feature to install the latest beta whenever it comes out?? Or have it so if you are running a beta, it will offer to install newer beta?

As you, I also like to stay up with the current betas and would also like to see auto-notifications for beta updates as well as official releases. I've been using the MMW betas for years across several versions now, and for the most part with no (or very few) problems.

For now, if you subscribe to the Beta thread here on the forum, they'll send you an email when ever there is a new beta posted.
