I loaded up some flac files and then decided I really just needed MP3 @ 320. Instead of getting them back out of MM and converting them with a tool like FooBar, I decided to just identify all .flac files (Entire Library -> All Files -> Extension equals 'Flac'. (19,000 files). I then went to convert them. I've been able to replicate this 5 times, now with the number of Flac files at 7,000. After a "while" (about 2-3,000 files), it throws an exception (ugh, I can't cut and past the snippet):
It says:
Application throw an exception Error executing SQL "Select Songs.*
FROM Songs WHERE (upperw(Songs.Extension) = upperw('flac'))
AND (upperw(Songs.Extension = upperw('flac')) AND
(upperw(Songs.Extension = upperw('flac')) AND
(upperw(Songs.Extension = upperw('flac')) AND
(upperw(Songs.Extension = upperw('flac')) AND
(upperw(Songs.Exten":Expression tree is too large (maximun depth 1000) (1,1)
Before I download the latest Beta build and try to replicate this with a dump and get logs and everything to MM, has anyone experienced this? It's happening still, now I have eventually whittled the FLAC titles down to 7,000.
Looking at the forums, some variety of "Crashes during FLAC conversion" have been happening for a decade, I'm hoping with continual improvements to prevent this.
Also, just hit this, if I go to the lower-left corner (the tick-down counter, 5266 of 7110) and cancel the operation, and then try to close MM, I get another pop-up, "Application throw an exception Not all close query events are finished!! (C:\Sources\MediaMonkey2024_2\HTML5Monkey\BaseApp.pas line 7828) - With the option to restart, restart in safe mode, or continue.
If I hit continue, I cannot close (upper right X), hitting it does nothing. I can minimize, resize the frame, trying to play music does nothing. None of the upper menu items can be clicked except Help, which brings down the drop-menu, but nothing else registers (I cannot File -> Exit because File does not bring down any menu).
Task Manager shows MediaMonkey.exe and 3 instances of MediaMonkeyEngine.exe and one instance of MediaMonkey64Helper.exe still running.
Thanks,
