MM5 unable to see AppData folder for backup config [#22024]

Post by Deadcool »

I recently migrated MM5 / 2024 from one computer to another. I use a different username on the new computer, and the imported config is set to backup the DB to C:\Users\(old_username\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey5\ . I try to use Browse to find the current user's AppData directory, but even though it is viewable in Explorer (because View Hidden Files is configured), MM5 is not able to see it, so I am unable to configure a corresponding directory.

Is there some way to get MM5 to have the same View rights as Exporer?

Hi,
Have you tried to Copy/Paste Path from Explorer to MM Settings?

Anyway I added suggestion to https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=22024 for future MM implementation.

Thanks, copy/paste of the path works. Hopefully updated to allow selection through Browse in the future from your suggestion.

Cheers!
