All mp3 indexed, but see only files and not additionally folders

Dear All,
following question:
I have indexed all my files with MM4.
Searching for an artist, let's say for example "Genesis", i see all files (I hope). Is there also a possibilty to include also the folders, which include the name "Genesis", ideally on top of the search results, help would be very fine!!

This would work in Media Monkey 2024 by using a Collection (and probably Media Monkey 4 using Manage Collections).

The Collection definition might look like this:

Code: Select all

Match ANY of the following criteria:
Path Contains Genesis
Album Artist Contains Genesis
Artist Contains Genesis
Title Contains Genesis

But will likely contain some "False" hits e.g.

• Genesis by the Alan Parsons Project

• Genesis by Jefferson Starship

• The Genesis Album by Busta Rhymes

• Parthenogenesis by Canned Heat

Hi Ian, thanks for your answer.

Perhaps i was not clear enough: "Genesis" was just an example.
I would like to see in general via search the folders as described above, for any searches.

I fear, this is neither in MM4 nor in MM5/2024 available, correct?

There is the Column Filter available in Search.

Alternatively you can Scroll to match when typing in the Media Tree.
