Application throw an exception Out of memory

I'm using MediaMonkey 2024.2.2.3222

Every time I restart the program, within about 5 minutes I get the error:

"Application throw an exception Out of memory

Would you like to restart in Safe mode?"

After a recent update, MediaMonkey, in idle and not visibly performing any function, gradually goes from 500mb memory usage up to a peak of over 2,300mb. No music playing at the time, no sync occurring. At 2,300mb it throws the error. Attempting to restart in safe mode only results in the program closing and no reopening in safe mode occurs.
