Lots of tag update failure messages

Just installed b3529 and now I'm getting a lot of "there was a problem updating the tag" errors like this one when editing the metadata. No details in the error, and no dbgview log yet, I just enabled it. It's inconsistent, the same file will not error out 1 minute later, and the tag was updated the first time. I'll reply to my own post when I have the log.
