how about an alarm clock to play mp3 at scheduled times ?

what do u think about adding an alarm clock feature? i mean u got playlists and mp3. i leave my mediamonkey up all the time and i wish it had an alarm feature to wake me up in the morning with my mp3 blaring. i have to download another "alarm clock" program. i wish it could be combined into one.

This has been requested on several occasions and I can't tell you what the status of this feature is. You could try to play with scheduled tasks, but I'm not sure how far you get.

ok lowlander is right the fastest and best way to do this is with the scheduled tasks.

if your in winXp you will need to have the admin... for the system set it up.

but you just start a new task. make it play the song you want or playlist you want at the time you want. and then have it stop at a certian time.

of course if you have task scheduler stop it then it will close media monkey. so it would be best to have the playlist stop by its self by leaving the players repeat button turned to do not repeat. then you will be able to play your wake up alarm. you dont need other programs to set up that task. that is what ms put task scheduler in the os for.
