Forgive me if this has been mentioned or if there is a way to do this currently...
When a feature like "auto organize" is applied to a huge list of tracks, it would be nice to have the "resulting directories and filenames" window display the actual CHANGES in one color, and the tracks/files that would NOT BE CHANGED in another color...
Visually that would give a quick way to sort through what would actually change. I suggest this because sometimes the change to be made is actually in error because the tag is incorrect but the location currently correct.
Auto organize feature: unique color for files 2b moved

That's already done. Files to be changed are highlighted in yellow, files that are not changed have no highlight and files that would be changed to an existing file are highlighted in red.

Aha! you are right of course.
Turns out my mask to rename was:
c:\mp3\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Track #> - <Title>
And even after applying this mask for a rename, everything would still pop up to be renamed anew when the mask was reapplied (everything was yellow even if the proposed new location/name was identical).
The error is that the original drive was uppercase, C:, and the mask I requested was a lowercase c:
I fixed my mask to
C:\mp3\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Track #> - <Title>
and it works correctly.
Perhaps a small, unimportant bug in the programming. Case would matter in filenames, but should not matter in drive names.
I knew those colors must be there for a reason! Thanks.

That sounds like a small bug.
