I have a lot of live shows and old time radio shows. A critical component for each is performance date. That is the key element that I need to determine if two files refer to the same thing.
As far as I can tell, MM does not support the "Date of recording" tag specified in the ID3 standard (http://www.id3.org/frames.html). Adding it, and including it as a tag that can be set via the "Auto-tag from filename" function would be very useful!
Currently, I have to pre-pend the date before a radio show's title or description and before a live show's venue information so that I can later sort by date to find duplicates or to simply listen to shows in order. Examples:
1952.12.07-Incident at Quito (title for a radio track)
2002.11.07-Baltimore (album for a set of live tracks)
It would be a lot better if I could split them up into two separate fields.
Thanks!

All ID3 tags
Well I would say that it would be useful to have all ID3 standards tags fully integrated (file properties, search & renam/retag) in MM.
