Date of new release

Post by ami du foot »

Hi,

I really appreciate the current version of MediaMonkey.
Quick and efficient, even with around 100 Go of mp3s.
But when is planned the next release ?

By the way, if you still need some french reviewers, you can contact me.

Bye

Well, the exact date is not available, and even not known to Jiri and Rusty. Due to very very unstable Alpha or let me say no garanties to library stability. Becouse of that and becouse of coordinations MM2.2 developers is still in internal use. In some posts Jiri offered alpha release for translators but it is meant only for testing translations.

Trust me MM 2.2 is very large jump from MM 2.1 in UI that needs few tests more, which are done almost 24 hours a day to speed up releseing of stable Alpha.

MM 2.2 Alpha will be relesed any day now, but after global user stability is acomplished. It is in your own protection, and hours/days/months (in my case) of managing library.

Final Note: MM Will continue to brake some barriers in Multimedia Managing and MM 2.2 is going to that way as a first step.

Peke thanks for the info. I think a lot of us are just so excited for the next release. I myself check this page at least 20 times a day for the next release or news of it.

Thanks again. Please keep us posted.

Just a test version

Just remember that it will be an alpha, that is the first test version of a new version. It might still have errors in it and it is only advised that people who regularly test software install and test it. The general public full release can still be a long road away.
