Audio library has stopped working

I submitted a support ticket but maybe somebody here might help me out

I can't start MM. I have MM3...1183. It was working fine last night, I even synced my iPod and added a couple of playlists. The only thing I did after syncing my ipod was installing a codec pack from here: http://www.cccp-project.net/ I was trying to play a video format mkv or something like that.

I uninstalled the codec pack and installed MM again. I reinstalled my laptop each time. I still can't get MM to run.

Some tips that might work:

• Try moving out the database and the ini file from their location (do not delete them!)
• Try moving out only the ini file
• Try removing the MM installation folder when you reinstall

If those things do not work, then we should be thinking of more aggresive choices.

Had the same problem. I deleted CADStarter.dll and genCADStarter.Plugin.dll from the Plugins folder and MM3 worked again.

Guys i can confirm that this is a plug-in issue - for me it was iphone.dll, it seems that you will have to check what your specific .dll error is

Same problem here, but it *was* fixed by deleting the iphone dll.

ok here i deleted the iphone.dll also plus removed all apple programs : itunes, quicktime etc...and still i cannot open MM3, it is stuck on the opening logo and when i close it it is says that this is due to the audio library.

any tips or hints to have work again properly ?

Had the same issue.

I had to:
- delete d_iPhone .dll
- remove the CD audio that was in the CD burner

I had the same problem with MediaMonkey saying the audio library had stopped. I have recently got an iPhone and have just deleted the d_iphone.dll out of: C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Plugins and MM3 is back and functioning.

Ok, but now you won't be able to sync your iPhone with MM. The full solution is to upgrade to the latest beta version of MM, which fixed those issues.

1. Okay, but you don't have to upgrade your iPhone OS just to use it with MM. Old versions (3.0, 2.0, 1.0) will still work with the latest beta. I'm holding out on the 3.1 upgrade for the same reasons.
2. That's understandable, but to be honest the beta seems more stable than the current release. That's up to you though.
