Deleted Album Songs but Folder still Remains?
I'm a newbie at Media Monkey, and i'm used to iTunes deleting the folder from the library when the album is erased. In Media monkey I have checked the "Delete Emptied Folders" under the Auto-Organize option but the folders still remain. Am I doing something wrong?
Re: Deleted Album Songs but Folder still Remains?
Did you use Auto-Organize Files or manually deleted the files.
Auto-Organize Files will only delete folder if the folder is empty. Even if the folder seems empty it might not be. You might need to enable the viewing of hidden files as well as protected operating system files in the Windows Explorer options to see if any files remain in the folder (commonly folder.jpg used by Windows Media Player).

Just for clarification then,
I have noticed the same problem. I use the auto-organize and file monitor feature also.
I am in the ML and select the tracks, choose delete, but it leaves the folder with the album art in it. According to the above post, this is to be expected.
How would I go about using MM to delete all of the folders I have that may contain album art (usually) or a text file?
I have used the Ctrl-R feature to move or copy my entire collection to a new location, then I was able to manually delete outside of MM those folders. Is there a better way to accomplish this clean up? I have over 100,000 tracks after all and it takes MM forever.

Re: Deleted Album Songs but Folder still Remains?
I assume deleting files would ask to remove the Album Art file if all files on the Album are deleted (Auto-Organize Files asks when moving all files on the Album).
