Replacing tags with all capital letters with lower case

Post by lobojon »

Hello everyone!

I was lost and then MM was found. After using several programs to clean up a 100,000 file db, I discovered MM. After playing with the free version for a while, I bought the upgrade to gold. As my db becomes cleaner and cleaner due to you who have written scripts, I discover new things. Thanks to all.

Most recently, I have been searching for the way in MM to change all tracks written in capital letters to the normal first letter in capital letters. I tried to use the download the album information from the internet to retag the album, which works for albums that are found. However, I have some albums that are not found in using the freedb function.

Is there a script or something that can change title/artist/album fields from all capital letters to the “standard” first letter of each word is a capital and the others are lower case? Or, do you have an alternative method that I have not thought of that uses existing MM features?

Thanks
