Start Playing web mp3 link immediately

Hello All,

I have my MM Gold v3.1.0.1256 configured to be the default player for mp3 files. If I click on a web link that points to a .mp3 file, the file has to download completely (into my temp directory) before MM starts playing.

I would like MM to start playing immediately. Is this possible? If so, how?

If (dreaded) QuickTime is set up as the default mp3 player, it automatically behaves this way. That is, the mp3 immediately starts playing in QuickTime.

I don't think this is possible.

Bummer. I guess it is all about trade-offs. Someday I'll find the perfect audio player/library/ripper/audio utility.
