Swap Aritst and Album Artist Fields

I'd like to find a plugin or a script to allow me to swap/switch the artist field with the album artist field for selected tracks. The reason being is that my Ipod won't allow me to browse by Album Artist but I love this function. As a workaround, I was going to switch all my album artists with artists so that on my ipod I can browse by album artist (even though it's labelled in media monkey and on my ipod as Artist). Hopefully I haven't lost you.... I have been looking all night for a way to do this but have turned up just one website whose script I couldn't figure out how to make work.

The other equally viable solution would be to figure out how to edit the artist field without having it automatically replace the album artist field with that same entry.

Please, please, please, I am getting so frustrated that I am about ready to just rename all my compilations by the album title because I am ending up with a MASSIVE list of artists on my ipod. Any ideas???

Have you looked at RegExpReplace script for that? Maybe running it twice using a custom field as a data holder. If need be I think I can edit the SwapArtistTitle.vbs for your fields but I think you did lose me a bit. Did you just want the changes on you ipod but keep your MM data normal? I just went though something similar to this.

Yes, I want Mediamonkey files to stay the same while loading up my Ipod with files that have the Album Artist inserted into Artist so that I when I look at the artist field on my ipod I see the album artists.
