What are 'Accessible tracks'?

Post by terrypin »

What is the playlist 'Accessible Tracks' please? It appears to include all tracks, so I don't see its purpose?

It means files that can be accessed. This is useful if files are removed by user from PC, but left on the PC or when files are stored on external/network locations that are not accessible.

Thanks but maybe I'm just being dense! Surely ALL files on my PC hard drives are 'accessible'? Is there any differnce in meaning between 'accessible' and plain 'readable'?

And If files are "removed from PC" then how can they be "left on PC"?

Maybe you can give me a practical example of when this feature would be used?

As I said if you store on an external drive and the drive isn't connected the files aren't accessible.
