Error. There was a problem syncing the following item(s):
I am using the latest MM beta build, Windows 7, and have a galaxy s3.
Mediamonkey syncs perfectly on the initial sync (when my phone has no media on it). However, each attempt thereafter always fails. An error message stating "Error. There was a problem syncing the following item(s):" appears with a list of every song that failed. I've been having this issue for almost a year now, I've tried dozens of MM Windows and MM Android versions, I've looked everywhere, but no one seems to have the same issue. In order for me to put even one new song onto my phone I have to manually delete every song and playlist from my phone then re-sync (2+ hours to add a single song to my phone sucks!).
I've tried deleting the phone profile, submitting a debug log, etc. Right now, I have 2 (probably pretty weak) theories:
First, I have all my music on D drive. The error message that appears lists all the songs as being on c:\temp. Maybe the issue is in transferring the songs from d: to c: ?
Second, I was thinking that maybe (but probably not) one of my android media players is interfering with the sync. I currently have installed PowerAmp, Player Pro, and Gone Mad.

You should capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and send it to support so the developers can look at the details of why this is happening: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341

Yep, I've done this before with no reply. I guess I'll try again.

If you attach a debug log to a support ticket you should get a reply.

What says the "Error. There was a problem syncing the following item(s)"?
There is always some aditional info for each item/track why it has failed.

Each newly added song has its own error. For example:
Problem while copying file C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Temp\5B4C.mp3 to \Music\Aphex Twin\I Care Because You Do\07 Start As You Mean to Go On.mp3
or
Problem while copying file C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Temp\MM_AutoConvertedTracks\4FAD_1 Intro.flac9D2C to \Music\DJ Spooky\Songs of a Dead Dreamer\01 Intro.mp3

Re: Error. There was a problem syncing the following item(s)
I've tried 3 or 4 times but I can't submit a ticket. Is there no way to attach a file to a forum post?
Re: Error. There was a problem syncing the following item(s)
If you use the link lowlander sent, after logging in there will be a 'upload files' at the bottom of the screen. At least that has always been my observation.

Yep, after attaching the log and hitting send, firefox says "connecting to mediamonkey.com" for about ten minutes. Chrome uploads for about ten. But my account doesn't show the ticket as being submitted and I haven't gotten a response.

Probably your log file is too large. Compress it to a .zip file and send it, that should drastically reduce the file size.Absoluteg0 wrote:Yep, after attaching the log and hitting send, firefox says "connecting to mediamonkey.com" for about ten minutes. Thank you! That worked.

Or you can use a free file sharing service like http://www.mediafire.com , upload the log there and attach the link here.
Which ticket ID it was? I cannot seem to find it.
