I am having a problem and I hope someone can help. I just started using Media Monkey based on a lot of research. I am finally leaving iTunes! Anyway, I have moved all of my music into the MM library and now I have a few playlists that I want to import. I used a third party tool to get the playlists out of iTunes and I edited them to reflect the new locations of the files (I moved them to a non iTunes location). Based on what I read on other posts, I went to File > Add/Rescan files to the library. I choose the folder where my edited M3U files are. The playlists (3 in this case) appeared in imported playlists. However, there were no songs in the playlist. I cannot figure out how to get the playlists to be populated with the actual files.
Any help would be appreciated, as I cannot find anything in these forums.
Thanks

Re: Importing Playlists
If the Playlists show no files it normally means the files don't exist in the Paths stored in the Playlist.

Re: Importing Playlists
Then how do you change the path in each title in each playlist without editing every track?
Thanks

Re: Importing Playlists
If the same part of the Path is changed for all files on the Playlist (ie. from C:\My Music to D:\Music) you can use any text editor's (like Notepad) Replace function to change this for all files on the Playlist.

Re: Importing Playlists
Thanks. So I open each play list in notepad, perform a replace function, then save?

Re: Importing Playlists
Yes, if you have an advanced Text editor like Textpad or Notepad++ you'd be able to open multiple files and perform the Replace on all open files simultaneously.
