I just bought a license, so although this problem has always happened for me, now I have the Gold version and it's still happening (I was hoping that would solve the problem), and I feel entitled to ask someone to help me with this problem I'm having.
Auto-tag doesn't work, I get the following error: "Couldn't show results. Socket Error # 10013 Access denied." The "web" tab just says the program can't display the internet because it's not connected (obviously not the case). I've made an exception for MM in my firewall, I even opened port 80 on my router and checked the "proxy server" box in MM to see if that would help (no). I'm really at a loss and since my CD collection is pretty big I'm starting to get really irked. Please help me figure out what to do to fix this.

Re: auto-tag and web don't work
sorry, it's MM 4.0.7.1511 on Win 7, I just redownloaded and reinstalled it last night (and I totally uninstalled prev version and wiped the registry and windows shell integration and everything).

Re: auto-tag and web don't work
also I might as well list my other problems:
1. last.fm extension installed, now gives me this error whenever I start MM: "Error happened during script execution. A script engine for the specified language cannot be created." When I bring up "extensions," there is no ability to click "options," the only active button is uninstall (and it doesn't uninstall, it gets another error). This happens with other extensions too. What is the script language problem?! I have had this extension work before on the free version, but now it doesn't?! ARGHHHHH >_< (especially annoying because I also want to try to write my own script to export the current-playing track file location and ID3 info to a text file but why bother trying if scripting is broken??) I don't even GET to the screen where I can put in my login info, so who knows if it can connect to the internet (probably not...)
2. is there any way to rip a full CD as a single track?

Re: auto-tag and web don't work
1) Generally it indicates that Firewall or Antivirus is blocking MediaMonkey from accessing the internet. Temporarily disabling these should show if they are the issue or not.
2) http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... icleid=150 or http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... icleid=147
3) No, MediaMonkey can only rip as individual tracks.
