MM Prepares list of files then quits (iOS 8.1.1 sync issues)
iPhone 5S iOS 8.1.1. I try to sync my music and it says preparing list of files for a second and then stops. I have restarted both My computer and iPhone. I have windows 7 with the newest version of MM

Syncing to iOS 8.1
I have an iPod Touch 5th Gen and, since I upgraded it to iOS 8.1, I have been unable to sync music from MediaMonkey. The last time I tried (using MM 4.1.6.1723, having already tried with earlier versions), it appeared to be syncing but took over 3 hours to run through 300-odd tracks. At the end of it, only 2 tracks had actually copied to my iPod.
I've tried sending the tracks to the iPod in smaller batches, but it makes no difference.
Is this a common issue and is there a fix?

You may want to capture the whole sync process in a debug log (step 4b) and send the log to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=12&t=69

iTunes 12.0.1
Mediamonkey 4.1.5.1719
note: iTunes does not recognize my iPhone and wants me to restore it, but im pretty sure that will fail as i recently tried to restore and it didnt work. I do not remember the error it gave me. Someone on another forum said i had something wrong with my hosts file. I have deleted that and made a new one with the directions here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034
I am still having the same problems.
i did manage to sync music on ios 8.1 but now i am on 8.1.2

As MediaMonkey relies on iTunes to sync and iTunes has a problem with the device the problem may lie there and not with MediaMonkey. You can always send a debug log capturing the sync to support, but mention iTunes requests a device restore.

iPad 3 won't sync properly with mmw
My iPad 3 (iOS 8.1.1) no longer syncs worth a damn with mmw (4.1.6.1723). Music listings on the iPad don't go away but the music does. Each sync just inflates the number of listings.
In addition some of the added music will not play. It is listed and goes through a brief screen imitation of playing followed by the iPad showing a red exclamation point.
Only solution so far has been to do a restore to wipe the iPad clean, then do an mmw sync. The whole library plays properly after the first, fresh sync.
I'm only using the iPad as a last resort because my troubles with mma. After a taste of mma, the iWorld is so lame.

Ooops, my bad. Peke's right. This has already been fixed. My iPad syncs great now. TNX.
Re: MM Prepares list of files then quits (iOS 8.1.1 sync iss
I've got a support ticket open but I thought it was worth noting that it's now over 4 months since I was last able to sync music to my iPod. Even the latest beta build hasn't fixed the problem for me. The support staff are being great but this is now immensely frustrating.
