double and triple entries in library

Good morning to you all.

I am running the latest version of MM on a windows X laptop.
My music is stored on a NAS (Synology DS715) in a folder called 'Music2015'. (This is NOT a folder that is created by a musicserver but one that I created myself)
When I start MM (for the first time) and I ask to look for the files, they are loaded into the library alright.
The problem is, when I start MM a second time, all music is again loaded into the library, and again the next time, and again the next time....
All music is three, four times present in my library and with every time I start MM a duplicate is added...

I am using MM for a couple of years now and I have never experienced this.
